This delicious swathe of semi-sheer silk crepe-chiffon is named after a Greek cloud nymph, and will envelop you in a flattering rosy glow of gossamer softness.
The pin-tucked back neck-line and draped front panels gather a luxuriously generous amount of silk into a floor-length 'deshabille' or boudoir robe, which is also delicious enough to be worn as part of your bridal ensemble...imagine how ethereal it would look in ivory or blush worn over a sinuous slither of silk satin, or a delicate fall of exquisite French lace!
The sleeves are cut kimono style, which create even more drapery, and all the edges are finished with a delicate hand worked shell-tucked edging in the same silk.
The gown can be worn open, or fastened to one side with the silk ribbon ties, accented with curled feather plumes and hand-tinted silk tulle rosebuds.
Available in white, ivory, blush and tea rose (pictured). The feather accent on the tea-rose shade is chartreuse. On the white, ivory and blush options the accent is matched to the silk shade unless otherwise requested. Please state colour choice in 'notes' when placing order.
'Nephele' is generously cut, and is available in two sizes, small-medium and large-extra large.
All garments are custom made, so there is a lead time on this style of up to 4 weeks (please contact the studio before ordering if your order is urgent). As the garments are made to order for each client, there are no returns, but we are happy to send out colour swatches (up to 3) on request so you can ascertain the correct shade before ordering.
We do ship internationally. Please contact studio for shipping quote before placing order if your shipping destination is not listed. Please be aware that there may be import tax payable at point of entry according to local tax laws.
